The UV pattern rides the sunlight and the matte weave reflects it from every angle — your dog reads the disc against the sky, all flight long.
Photorealistic renderings, pre-production. The dog view is an illustrative simulation — UV reflectance is shown as visible glow.
Your dog loses the orange disc. Not this one — it's the frisbee dogs can see.
3 discs for $34.99 — a $47.97 value (reg. $15.99 each). The plastic discs you replace all summer cost more.

GHOSTCATCHER is a flying disc designed backwards from the animal that catches it. The top face carries a patent-pending pattern printed in UV-reflective security ink. A human lens absorbs almost all ultraviolet, so you see a plain disc. A canine lens transmits a meaningful share of it, so the same face carries a bright radial figure for your dog.
Underneath that layer, the visible colours are built on the blue-yellow axis — the only axis a dichromatic retina can separate. And the disc is woven, not moulded: a nylon canvas body with a closed-cell foam ring in the rim. The edge gives against a jaw, the matte weave reflects the pattern from every angle instead of glinting from one, and the whole disc goes in the washing machine. It floats.
Pre-production figures. Final spec may shift before the first run.
Woven nylon canvas body, closed-cell foam ring in the rim, bonded nylon stitching — no plastic shell anywhere. Colours are dyed in the fabric; the UV pattern is printed onto the finished top face in banknote-grade security ink and bonded into the weave. Specified free of BPA, phthalates and azo dyes.
No disc is a chew toy. GHOSTCATCHER is built for catching and carrying. Supervise play, and retire the disc once a seam frays or the foam shows through the weave.
Can't your dog find the frisbee? Often it's the colour, not your dog. Every other disc is designed for the person throwing it. GHOSTCATCHER is designed for the animal catching it.
How to use
The UV pattern rides the sunlight and the matte weave reflects it from every angle — your dog reads the disc against the sky, all flight long.
In deep grass the UV mark keeps working — your dog picks it out and brings it back.
Dog view applies a published dichromatic colour matrix and a 20/75 blur. Illustrative simulation.

One set of 3 discs, ships November 15 · 30-day money-back · 3,000 sets only.
Woven nylon canvas over a closed-cell foam ring. The whole disc compresses under a bite — a missed catch to the face is a non-event.
Colours are dyed in the fabric; the UV pattern is printed onto the finished top face in banknote-grade security ink and bonded into the weave. Free of BPA, phthalates and azo dyes.
Machine wash cold, air dry. Floats face-up in the lake. Doesn't crack in winter, doesn't clatter indoors, packs flat in a bag.
A UV disc only your dog can see, validated in our own trials. Orders are open now — the first 3,000 sets (three discs per set) ship November 15, every one covered by the 30-day guarantee. Questions: getghostcatcher@gmail.com

The first discs are in beta testers' backyards right now. Their words go here, unedited — the good and the bad.

"First disc my Frenchie can actually pick up off the ground. The padded rim lifts right up off flat grass, and it's soft enough that he finally commits to the catch instead of flinching."

"Lake dog household. Every disc we've owned either sank like a stone or got torn in two by week one. This one floats face-up, came out of the washing machine looking new — still alive after three weeks of a Lab's worst. Wish it flew a touch farther on windy days."

"We used to end every park session crawling through tall grass looking for an orange disc. Three weeks with this one and he's brought it back every single time — even the throw that vanished into the brush. Whatever the UV thing is doing, it's working for him."

They make the disc brighter for you. Dogs see two colours, not three — a brighter orange disc is just brighter grass. GHOSTCATCHER reflects UVA, a band your dog's lens transmits and yours blocks, from a matte weave that reads at any angle.
There is nothing rigid in the disc — fabric and foam only. It's built for catching and carrying, not chewing; supervise play and retire it once a seam frays.
The UV layer needs daylight — it works outdoors in any daytime weather, including overcast. After dark, the blue-and-yellow body is what your dog sees.
The UV pattern is printed onto the finished top face in security ink and bonded into the fabric, so it is made to survive the washing machine.
